ഇലകൾ തിന്നു ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഒരിനം കുരങ്ങനാണ് കണ്ണടക്കുരങ്ങ് (Spectacled Monkey) അഥവാ ഇലതീനികുരങ്ങ് ( ആംഗലേയം: Phayre's Leaf Monkey ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Trachypithecus phayei ). കണ്ണിനു ചുറ്റുമായി വെളുത്തപാടുള്ളതിനാലാണ് ഇവ ഈ പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ബംഗ്ലാദേശിനോടു ചേർന്ന് കിടക്കുന്ന വടക്കു കിഴക്കൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഇവയെ കാണാം. കൈകാലുകൾക്ക് കറുപ്പ് നിറവും അടിവശത്തിന് ഇളംനിറവുമാണ്. ഇവയുടെ പിത്താശയത്തിലെ കല്ലിന് ഔഷധഗുണമെന്ന വിശ്വാസത്താൽ വൻ‌തോതിൽ കണ്ണാടികുരങ്ങന്മാർ വേട്ടയാടപ്പെടുന്നു. മിസോ, ലുഷാ എന്നീ ഗോത്ര വർഗ്ഗക്കാർ പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ഇതിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇക്കാരണത്താൽ ഇവയ്ക്ക് വംശനാശഭീഷണി കടുത്തതാണ്. ത്രിപുരയിലെ സംസ്ഥാനമൃഗമായ ഇവയെ സെപാഹിജാല (Sepahijala) വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതത്തിൽ സം‌രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അധികം ശബ്ദമുണ്ടാക്കാത്ത ഇനം കുരങ്ങൻ എന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയും ഇവയ്ക്കുണ്ട്.
