ഈൽ നദി, അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിൽ വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ കാലിഫോർണിയയിലൂടെ ഒഴുകുന്ന ഏകദേശം 196 മൈൽ (315 കിലോമീറ്റർ) നീളമുള്ള ഒരു പ്രധാന നദിയാണ്. ഈ നദിയും അതിന്റെ പോഷകനദികളും ചേർന്ന് കാലിഫോർണിയയിൽ മുഴുവനായും മൂന്നാമത്തെ വലിയ നീർത്തടം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. ഈ നദി കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ അഞ്ചു കൌണ്ടികളിലെ നിമ്നോന്നതവും പരുക്കനുമായ 3,684 ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ (9,540 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ) പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലൂടെ ഒഴുകി ജലവിതരണം നടത്തുന്നു.
ഈ നദി പൊതുവെ സാക്രമെന്റോ താഴ്വരയ്ക്കു തെക്ക്, കോസ്റ്റ് റേഞ്ചസിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് വടക്കോട്ട് ഒഴുകുകയും ഫോർച്ചൂണയിൽനിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 10 മൈലുകൾ (16 കിലോമീറ്റർ) അകലെയും ഹംബോൾട്ട് ഉൾക്കടലിന് തെക്കുമാറിയും പസഫിക് സമുദ്രത്തിലേയ്ക്കു പതിക്കുന്നു. ഈ നദി പ്രദേശത്തെ ഭൂഗർഭ ജല പുനരാഗികരണം, വിനോദം, വ്യാവസായിക, കാർഷിക, മുനിസിപ്പൽ ജലവിതരണം, ഉപയോഗം എന്നിവയ്ക്കു് പിന്തുണ നൽകുന്നു
