പാകിസ്താനിലെ പഞ്ചാബ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ഒരു ജില്ലയാണ് മുൽതാൻ.(ഉർദു: ضِلع مُلتان) 1998ലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് 3,116,851 ആണ് ജനസംഖ്യ.3,721 ച.കി.മി വിസ്തീർണ്ണത്തിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചു കിടക്കുന്ന ഈ ജില്ലയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനവും മുൾട്ടാൻ തന്നെയാണ്.[1][3][5]
സ്ഥലം
[തിരുത്തുക]വടക്ക് ഖാനെവാൽ, കിഴക്ക് വെഹാരി,തെക്ക് ലോർധാൻ എന്നിവയുമായി ഈ ജില്ല ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട് കിടക്കുന്നു.പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഭാഗത്തിലൂടെ ചിനാബ് നദി കടന്നുപോകുന്നു.
