എഴുത്തുകാരനും, നിയമവിദഗ്ദ്ധനും ആയിരുന്നു ഇ. കെ. കൃഷ്ണൻ എഴുത്തച്ഛൻ(4 ജനുവരി 1924 - 13 ഡിസംബർ 2005), തൃശ്ശൂർ, ചേറ്റുപുഴ സ്വദേശിയാണ്. മജിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റ്, മുൻസിഫ്, കേന്ദ്രനിയമ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൽ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സെക്രട്ടറി, സുപ്രീം കോടതി (ഇന്ത്യ) അഭിഭാഷകൻ എന്നീ നിലകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[1] ഭരണഘടനക്കൊരു ഭാഷ്യം എന്ന കൃതിക്ക് പുത്തേഴൻ അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[2][3][4]
