കോഴിക്കോട് സ്വദേശിയും മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകനും സാഹിത്യകാരനും സാഹിത്യ പബ്ലിക്കേഷൻസ് മാനേജിങ് എഡിറ്ററുമാണ്. കോമ്പാച്ചി, ഇരിപ്പിടങ്ങൾ നഷ്ടമായവർ, രാജമല്ലികയിൽ നിലാവു പെയ്യുകയാണ് (ചെറുകഥാസമാഹാരങ്ങൾ), കടിഞ്ഞാണില്ലാത്ത കുതിരകൾ, ദേവമനോഹരി (നോവലുകൾ) ഭൂതത്താൻകുന്നിലെ ഇത്താപ്പി (ബാലസാഹിത്യം) എന്നിവയാണ് പുസ്തകരൂപത്തിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ കൃതികൾ.
സാഹിത്യ പബ്ലിക്കേഷൻസ് അധ്യാപക കഥാസമാഹാരമായ 'സ്‌കൂൾ ഫാക്ടറി'യുടെയും കൊറോണക്കാലം അതിജീവന കവിതാസമാഹാരമായ വാക്കിന്റെ വെളിപാടിന്റെയും എഡിറ്റർ. നാഷനൽ യൂത്ത് പ്രമോഷൻ കൗൺസിലിന്റെ അക്ഷരശ്രീ കഥാപുരസ്‌കാരം, ജെ.സി. ഡാനിയേൽ സാഹിത്യശ്രേഷ്ഠ അവാർഡ് (രാജമല്ലികയിൽ നിലാവു പെയ്യുകയാണ്), ദേവജ അവാർഡ് (ഭൂതത്താൻകുന്നിലെ ഇത്താപ്പി), വൈക്കം മുഹമ്മദ് ബഷീർ സാഹിത്യ പുരസ്‌കാരം (രാജമല്ലികയിൽ നിലാവു പെയ്യുകയാണ്) എന്നിവ കരസ്ഥമാക്കി. മികച്ച ബാലസാഹിത്യ കൃതിക്കുള്ള സമശ്രീ പുരസ്‌കാരം മഹാകവി ചങ്ങമ്പുഴയുടെ മകൾ ലളിത ചങ്ങമ്പുഴയിൽ നിന്ന് 2024 ഫെബ്രുവരി 18ന് ആലപ്പുഴയിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. ഭൂതത്താൻകുന്നിലെ ഇത്താപ്പി എന്ന ബാലസാഹിത്യ കൃതിക്കായിരുന്നു പുരസ്‌കാരം.

A native of Kozhikode. He is a Journalist, Writer and Managing Editor of Sahithya publications. The works published in book form are Kombachi, Erippidangal Nashttam aayavar, Rajamallikayil Nilaavu peyyukayaanu (short story collections), kadinjanillaatha kuthirakal, Devamanohari (novels) and Bhuthathan kunnille Ittappi (children's literature). Editor of the teachers story collection 'School Factory' and the Corona period survival poetry collection Wakkinte Velipaad.
National Youth Promotion Council's Aksharasree Katha puraskaram, J.C. Daniel won the Sahitya Shreshtha Award ( Rajamallikayil nilaavu peyyukayaanu), The Devaja Award (Bhuthathan kunnille Ittappi) and the Vaikom Muhammad Basheer Literary Award (Rajamallikayil nilaavu peyyukayaanu).The Samashree Award for Best Children's Literature was received from Mahakavi Changampuzha's daughter Lalitha Changampuzha at a function held in Alappuzha on February 18, 2024. The award was given to a children's literature work called Bhuthathan kunnille Ittappi.
