റഷ്യൻ തലസ്ഥാനമായ മോസ്കോയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന എയർക്രാഫ്റ്റ് നിർമ്മാണ കമ്പനിയാണ് സുഖോയ്. 1939 ൽ സുഖോയി ഡിസൈൻ ബ്യൂറോ എന്ന പേരിൽ പാവ്ൽ സുഖോയി ആണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. മിഖോയ്ൻ, ഇലിഷിൻ, ഇർകുറ്റ്, ട്യൂപോലോവ്, യാകോവ്ലെവ് എന്നീ കമ്പനികളെ റഷ്യൻ സർക്കാർ യുണൈറ്റഡ് എയർലൈൻസ് കോർപ്പറേഷൻ എന്ന പുതിയ കമ്പനിയായി ലയിപ്പിച്ചു[6].
