Ego, lack of time, financial pressure, and social media influence have made couples more distant than ever. Many people forget that marriage is not about perfection — it’s about partnership, forgiveness, and growing together.

But the real victims of separation are often the children.

They silently carry the pain of living between two worlds. They may smile, but deep inside they crave the warmth of a complete home — where love, guidance, and togetherness stay under one roof.

Siju Jacob is an Indian-born traveler, writer, social activist, off-road expert, and journalist from Chingavanam, Kottayam, Kerala. With over 26 years of expatriate life, he has lived and worked across the Gulf countries, New Zealand, and Australia, and is currently based in Orange, New South Wales, Australia. He holds citizenship in both New Zealand and Australia.

He completed his schooling at Chingavanam NSS School and higher education at Nattakam Government College. Siju holds a degree in Hotel Management from Mangalore University and has also studied Rubber Technology at Madras University. He began his professional journey in Kuwait in the gold trading sector before expanding his career into diverse business and professional fields in New Zealand and Australia.

Siju gained wider recognition through the founding of “Keralanadu,” a Malayalam newspaper in New Zealand, which played a significant role in strengthening cultural and social engagement among the Malayali diaspora. He has actively contributed to community development, charity initiatives, education support for underprivileged children, and animal welfare. He is an active administrator and volunteer with Help for Animals, an animal welfare collective.

An avid traveler, Siju has visited over 75 countries across all seven continents. For the past nine years, he has been deeply involved in Australia’s off-road driving community. He currently serves as the President of Explore Off Road Club Orange. Under his leadership, the off-road driving camp “Sand Storm 25,” held in 2025, attracted national media attention and participation from off-road clubs across Australia. He is also preparing for historic off-road expeditions through the Simpson Desert, home to the world’s longest parallel sand dunes.

As a writer, Siju Jacob has established a distinct literary identity in Malayalam literature. His notable works include “Pranayadarangalode,” “Oru Vasanthakaalathinte Ormakku,” “Aparichithathinte Aakashangal,” and the poetry collection “Narakapookkalude Manam.” His debut book Pranayadarangalode was released in 2025 by acclaimed Malayalam writer Benyamin and reached its third edition within a month.

Siju has received several literary honors, including the Khalil Gibran Award, SLF Award, and Kavirathna Award. He has been serving for the past 15 years as the Executive Editor of a Malayalam newspaper published from Australia and is also a travel columnist for Malayala Manorama Travel Magazine. His travel writings go beyond destinations, focusing on human stories, cultural insights, and lived experiences shaped by decades of global exposure.
