റജിന (/rəˈdʒaɪnə/) കനേഡിയൻ പ്രവിശ്യയായ സസ്‌കാച്ചെവാന്റെ തലസ്ഥാന നഗരമാണ്. സസ്‌കാറ്റൂണിന് ശേഷം പ്രവിശ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രണ്ടാമത്തെ നഗരമായ ഇത് തെക്കൻ സസ്‌കാച്ചെവാനിലെ വാണിജ്യ കേന്ദ്രവുമാണ്. 2016 ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം, റെജിനയിൽ 215,106 നഗര ജനസംഖ്യയും 236,481 മെട്രോപൊളിറ്റൻ ഏരിയ ജനസംഖ്യയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.^[7] 2020-ലെ കണക്കുകൾ പ്രകാരമുള്ള CMA-യുടെ ജനസംഖ്യ 263,184 ആയി സ്റ്റാറ്റിസ്റ്റിക്സ് കാനഡ കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.^[8] റെജിന സിറ്റി കൗൺസിലാണ് ഇത് ഭരിക്കുന്നത്. ഷെർവുഡ് നമ്പർ 159 റൂറൽ മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടതാണ് ഈ നഗരം.

മുമ്പ് നോർത്ത്-വെസ്റ്റ് ടെറിട്ടറി സർക്കാർ ആസ്ഥാനമായിരുന്ന റെജിന നഗരത്തിൽ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ നിലവിലെ സസ്‌കാച്ചെവാൻ, ആൽബെർട്ട എന്നിവയോടൊപ്പം ഡിസ്ട്രിക്റ്റ് ഓഫ് അസിനിബോയയും ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. മുമ്പ് വാസ്കാന (ക്രീ ഭാഷയിൽ "ബഫല്ലോ ബോൺസ്") എന്നറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഈ പ്രദേശം വിക്ടോറിയ രാജ്ഞിയുടെ ബഹുമാനാർത്ഥം 1882-ൽ റെജിന (ലാറ്റിൻ "രാജ്ഞി") എന്ന് പുനർനാമകരണം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. കാനഡ ഗവർണർ ജനറലായിരുന്ന മാർക്വെസ് ഓഫ് ലോണിന്റെ ഭാര്യയും വിക്ടോറിയ രാജ്ഞിയുടെ മകളുമായിരുന്ന ലൂയിസ് രാജകുമാരിയാണ് ഈ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തത്.^[9]
