2022 സെപ്തംബർ 16-ന്, ഇറാനിലെ ടെഹ്‌റാനിൽ ജിന അമിനി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഷീന അമിനി (പേർഷ്യൻ: ژینا امینی, കുർദിഷ്: ژینا ییم) എന്ന പേരിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന മഹ്സ അമിനി (പേർഷ്യൻ: مهسا امینی) [1]എന്ന 22 കാരിയായ ഇറാനിയൻ വനിത സംശയാസ്പദമായ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പോലീസിന്റെ ക്രൂരത കാരണം മരിയ്ക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.[2][3]

സർക്കാർ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കാത്തതിന് ഹിജാബ് നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങൾ പരസ്യമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നതിന് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്ന ഇസ്ലാമിക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ഓഫ് ഇറാന്റെ ലോ എൻഫോഴ്‌സ്‌മെന്റ് കമാൻഡിന്റെ വൈസ് സ്ക്വാഡായ ഗൈഡൻസ് പട്രോൾ അമിനിയെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. ഒരു സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ വെച്ച് അവൾക്ക് പെട്ടെന്ന് ഹൃദയസ്തംഭനമുണ്ടായി തറയിൽ വീഴുകയും രണ്ട് ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷം കോമയിൽ മരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറയുകയുണ്ടായി.[4][5] അവളെ മർദ്ദിക്കുകയും അവളുടെ തല ഒരു പോലീസ് കാറിന്റെ വശത്ത് ഇടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതായി സംഭവത്തി‍ൻറെ ദൃക്‌സാക്ഷികൾ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. അവളുടെ മെഡിക്കൽ സ്കാനുകൾ ചോർന്നതിൽ നിന്ന് [6]മസ്തിഷ്ക രക്തസ്രാവവും പക്ഷാഘാതവുമാണ് മരണത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് നയിക്കുവാനുണ്ടായ കാരണമെന്ന് നിർണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[7]

ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള നിരവധി ആളുകൾ അമിനിയുടെ മരണത്തോട് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. ചില വാർത്താ ഉറവിടങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത് അനുസരിച്ച്, ഇസ്ലാമിക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്ക് ഓഫ് ഇറാന്റെ കീഴിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾക്കെതിരായ അക്രമത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമായി ഇത് മാറുകയും രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം പ്രതിഷേധത്തിന് കാരണമാവുകയും ചെയ്തു.[8][9][10] നിരവധി നേതാക്കളും അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സംഘടനകളും സെലിബ്രിറ്റികളും സംഭവത്തെ കുറിച്ച് അഭിപ്രായപ്രകടനങ്ങൾ നടത്തി. ഇറാന്റെ സദാചാര പോലീസിന്റെ സ്ത്രീകളോടുള്ള പെരുമാറ്റത്തെ അവർ അപലപിക്കുകയും പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരോട് ഐക്യദാർഢ്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[11] യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് ഓഫ് ട്രഷറി സദാചാര പോലീസിനും വിവിധ സുരക്ഷാ സംഘടനകളിലെ ഇറാനിയൻ നേതാക്കൾക്കും ഉപരോധം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി.[12]

പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങൾ[തിരുത്തുക]

അമിനിയുടെ മരണത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ഇറാനിൽ വലിയ തോതിൽ പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായി. 2009, 2017, 2019 വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഇറാനിലുണ്ടായ ഏറ്റവും വ്യാപകമായ പ്രക്ഷോഭമാണിത് എന്ന് സി.എൻ.എൻ വിലയിരുത്തി.[13][14] 2009 ന് ശേഷം ഇറാനിലുണ്ടായ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രക്ഷോഭം എന്നാണ് ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ടൈംസ് ഈ പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളെ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്. പ്രതിഷേധത്തിൻറെ ഭാഗമായി പല സ്ത്രീകളും പരസ്യമായി തങ്ങളുടെ ഹിജാബ് ഊരി മാറ്റുകയോ മുടി മുറിയ്ക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തു.[15] 2022 നവംബർ അവസാനമായപ്പോഴേക്കും പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത 307 പേരെയെങ്കിലും സൈന്യം വധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് ഇറാൻ ഹ്യൂമൻ റൈറ്റ്സ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇറാൻ സൈനികർ ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തിന് നേരേ വെടിവയ്ക്കുകയും പലരെയും അടിച്ച് കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തതായി ആംനസ്റ്റി ഇൻറർനാഷണൽ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു.[16][17][18]
