മഹായുദ്ധകാലയളവിലെ പ്രമുഖ അറബ് ദേശീയ സൈനികനേതാവായിരുന്നു ഫൗസി അൽ-ഖാവുഖ്ജി ( അറബി: فوزي القاوقجي ; 19 ജനുവരി 1890 - 5 ജൂൺ 1977) [1] 1936-ലെ പലസ്തീൻ കലാപത്തെത്തുടർന്ന്[2] ജർമ്മനിയിലേക്ക് കടന്ന ഫൗസി രണ്ടാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധകാലത്ത് അവിടെ കഴിഞ്ഞു. അറബ് ലിബറേഷൻ ആർമിയുടെ ഫീൽഡ് കമാണ്ടറായി 1948-ലെ അറബ്-ഇസ്രയേൽ യുദ്ധത്തിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
ജീവിതരേഖ[തിരുത്തുക]
അന്ന് ഒട്ടോമൻ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്ന ട്രിപ്പോളി നഗരത്തിലെ ഒരു തുർക്ക്മെൻ കുടുംബത്തിൽ 1890-ൽ ഫൗസി അൽ-ഖാവുഖ്ജി ജനിച്ചത്.[3] 1912 ൽ ഇസ്താംബൂളിലെ മിലിട്ടറി അക്കാദമിയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടി.[4] യുദ്ധകാലത്ത് അറബ് ദേശീയതയുടെ മുൻനിര സൈനിക വ്യക്തിത്വമായിരുന്ന ഫൗസി അക്കാലത്തെ എല്ലാ അറബ് ദേശീയ യുദ്ധങ്ങളിലും കമാൻഡറായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരുന്നു.
