പ്യാരി ദേവി ആഗ്രഹരി സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമരസേനാനി ഗൗരിറാം ഗുപ്തയുടെ ഭാര്യയും ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരിയുമായിരുന്നു.1969 -ൽ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഫാരൻഡെയിൽ എം.എൽ.എയായി. 1969 മുതൽ 1974 വരെ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് നിയമസഭയിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു.[1] ഗോരഖ്പൂരിലെ (ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ മഹാരാജഞ്ച്ഗനി) ജില്ലയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ നിയമസഭാംഗമായിരുന്നു പ്യാരി ദേവി.[2][3]
