1946 മുതൽ 1950 വരെ ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമര സേനാനിയും, ഭരണഘടനയിലെ ഒരു ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു പൂർണിമ ബാനർജി[1] ((née ഗാംഗുലി, 1911-1951 [2]).
ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
അലഹബാദിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ നാഷണൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് കമ്മിറ്റി സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്നു. സോൾട്ട് മാർച്ചിലും ക്വിറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യാ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിലും പങ്കെടുക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് ജയിലിൽ അടയ്ക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. [3]പിന്നീട് ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് ലെജിസ്ലേറ്റീവ് അസംബ്ലിയിൽ അംഗവും ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണഘടനാ സമിതിയിൽ അംഗവും ആയി[4]അരുണ ആസിഫ് അലിയുടെ ഇളയ സഹോദരിയായിരുന്നു അവർ[5] സിറ്റി കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ സെക്രട്ടറി എന്ന നിലയിൽ, ട്രേഡ് യൂണിയനുകൾ, കിസാൻ മീറ്റിങ്ങുകൾ, ഗ്രാമീണ ഇടപെടലുകൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്കായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും അവരെ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[1]
മരണം.[തിരുത്തുക]
1951 -ൽ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനുശേഷം ഏതാനും വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം നൈനിറ്റാളിൽ അസുഖം മൂലം മരണമടഞ്ഞു. [6]
