ബോൺസ് പർഡ്യൂവിൽ നിന്ന് സയൻസിൽ ബാച്ചിലറും പെൻസിൽവാനിയയിലെ വുമൺസ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ നിന്ന് മെഡിക്കൽ ബിരുദവും നേടി [1] അവിടെ അവർ ആൽഫ ഒമേഗ ആൽഫയിലേക്ക് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
