ബോളിവുഡ് സിനിമയായ റോറർ: ടൈഗർസ് ഓഫ് സുന്ദർബൻസിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, തന്റെ കരിയറിലെ തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് പുരി ജഗന്നാഥിൻറെ ടെംപർ എന്ന തെലുങ്ക് ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചു. വിക്രം ഭട്ട് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് മഹേഷ് ഭട്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ച മിസ്റ്റർ X എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഇമ്രാൻ ഹഷ്മി, ഗുർമീത് ചൗധരി എന്നിവരുമായി അഭിനയിച്ചു.
