തുമ്പുക ഭാഷ ഒരു ബാണ്ടു ഭാഷയാണ്. ഈ ഭാഷ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ മലാവിയുടെ ഉത്തരപ്രദേശത്ത് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഭാഷയാണ്. അതുപോലെ സാംബിയയുടെ ലുന്ദാസി ജില്ലയിലും ഇതു സംസാരിച്ചുവരുന്നു.[4] ഇത് ചിതുംബുക അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സിതുംബുക എന്നും അറിയപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു. ഇതിലെ ചി എന്ന തുടക്കം എന്നതിലെ ഭാഷ എന്ന അർഥം വഹിക്കുന്നു. ചി-തംബുക എന്നതിനർഥം തംബുക ജനതയുടെ ഭാഷ എന്നാണ്. 1998ലെ വോൾഡ് അൽമനാക്ക് പ്രകാരം 2,000,000 പേർ തുമ്പുക ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.[6]
