നേപ്പാളിൽ അഭ്യന്തര സർവീസ് നടത്തിയിരുന്ന ഒരു വിമാനമായിരുന്നു താറ എയർ വിമാനം 193 പൊഖാറ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ നിന്നും ജോംസോം വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയിൽ 2016 ഫെബ്രുവരി 24 ന് ഇത് തകർന്നു.യാത്രയാരംഭിച്ച് 8 മിനുട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞതോടെ റഡാർ സംവിധാനത്തിൽനിന്ന് അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് വനമേഖലയിൽ തകർന്ന് വീണത്. 23 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്.[1][2][3] മൈഗാഡി ജില്ലയിലെ ഡാന എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഇത് കാണപ്പെട്ടത്.യാത്രക്കാരെല്ലാവരും മരണപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു[4] 2010 ഒക്ഹാൽദുൻഗ ട്വിൻ ഓട്ടർ ക്രാഷ് വിമാനാപകടത്തിലും 22 പേർ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.[5][6]
