മുൻ അമേരിക്കൻ ഒബ്‌സ്റ്റട്രിക്‌സ് & ഗൈനക്കോളജി മെഡിക്കൽ ഡോക്‌ടറും ഒരു കുറ്റവാളിയും അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ എയർഫോഴ്‌സ് യുദ്ധവിദഗ്ദ്ധനുമാണ് ഡൊണാൾഡ് ലീ ക്ലിൻ (ജനനം ഡിസംബർ 10, 1938) .[1][2]1974 നും 1987 നും ഇടയിലുള്ള കാലത്ത്, ക്ലൈൻ സ്വയം വെളിപ്പെടുത്താതെ തന്റെ രോഗികൾക്ക് ബീജ ദാതാവായി നിരവധി കുട്ടികളെ ഗർഭം ധരിപ്പിച്ചതായി വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.[3] ക്ലൈൻ 2022 മെയ് 11 വരെ, ഗർഭധാരണം നടത്താൻ സഹായിച്ച് 94 സന്തതികളുടെ ജീവശാസ്ത്രപരമായ പിതാവായി സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[4]

ക്ലൈൻ ഇന്ത്യാന സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദവും ഇന്ത്യാന യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് മെഡിസിനിൽ നിന്ന് എം.ഡിയും നേടി. ഐയു ഹെൽത്ത് മെത്തഡിസ്റ്റ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ ഇന്റേൺ ചെയ്ത ശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം രണ്ട് വർഷക്കാലം എയർഫോഴ്‌സിലും 12 വർഷക്കാലം നിഷ്‌ക്രിയ റിസർവിലും സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. 1979-ൽ, ഇൻഡ്യാനപൊളിസിലെ 2020 വെസ്റ്റ് 86-ആം സ്ട്രീറ്റിൽ ക്ലൈൻ തന്റെ ക്ലിനിക്ക് തുറക്കുകയും പ്രത്യുത്പാദന എൻഡോക്രൈനോളജിയിലും വന്ധ്യതയിലും വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യം നേടുകയും ചെയ്തു.[2] 2009-ൽ വിരമിക്കുന്നതുവരെ അദ്ദേഹം അവിടെ പ്രാക്ടീസ് ചെയ്തു. 2018-ൽ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തപ്പെട്ടതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ക്ലൈൻ തന്റെ മെഡിക്കൽ ലൈസൻസ് സറണ്ടർ ചെയ്തു. ഇന്ത്യാനയിലെ മെഡിക്കൽ ലൈസൻസിംഗ് ബോർഡ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻശെ മെഡിക്കൽ ലൈസൻസ് പുനഃസ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിന് വിലക്കേർപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു.[5]
