History

ലണ്ടനിലെ തെയിംസ് നദിക്കു കുറുകെയായി നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പാലമാണ് ടവർ ബ്രിഡ്ജ്. 1886-ലാണ് പാലത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. 1894-ൽ നിർമ്മാണം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി ഗതാഗതത്തിനു തുറന്നു കൊടുത്തു. ടവർ ഓഫ് ലണ്ടനു സമീപമായാണ് ബ്രിഡ്ജ്. പാലം മധ്യത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഉയർത്തിയാണ് കപ്പലുകൾക്ക് സഞ്ചരിക്കാനായി സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുന്നത്. ഈ സമയം ഉച്ചഭാഷണിയിലൂടെ അറിയിപ്പു നൽകും.
