ജൂഡിത് അർനോൾഡ് എന്ന തൂലികാനാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ബാർബറ കെയ്‍ലർ[1] ക്രൈം ഫിക്ഷൻ നോവലുകളിലൂടെ പ്രശസ്തയായ അമേരിക്കൻ എഴുത്തുകാരിയാണ്. 1953 ഏപ്രിൽ 7 ന് ന്യൂയോർക്ക് നഗരത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു.  അവർ 85 പ്രണയനോവലുകളുടെ രചയിതാവാണ്. ഏരിയൽ ബെർക്ക്, തിയ ഫ്രെഡറിക് എന്നീ തൂലകാനാമങ്ങളിലും രചനകൾ നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.[2]

സ്വകാര്യജീവതം[തിരുത്തുക]

സ്കൂൾ ജീവിതകാലത്ത് സ്കൂൾ മാഗസിനിൽ എഴുതുകയും സ്കൂൾ ന്യൂസ്പേപ്പർ എഡിറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. സ്കൂളിലെ നാടകരചനാ മത്സരത്തിൽ വിജയിച്ചതിനുശേഷം ഒരു നാടകകൃത്താകാനുള്ള തീരുമാനമെടുത്തു. 1974 ൽ സ്മിത്ത് കോളജിൽനിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടി.[3] 1976 ൽ ബ്രൌൺ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയൽ ഉപരിപഠനം നടത്തുകയും ബിരുദാനന്തരബിരുദം നേടുകയം ചെയ്തു.[4]  അടുത്ത 10 വർഷങ്ങൾ നാടകരചനയിലേർപ്പെടുകയും രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള പ്രാദേശിക തീയേറ്ററുകൾക്കായി നാടകങ്ങൾ രചിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. മസാച്ചുസെറ്റ്സിലെ ബോസ്റ്റണിലാണ് അവർ ഭർത്താവിനും രണ്ടു കുട്ടികൾക്കുമൊപ്പം താമസിക്കുന്നത്.
