ഗൂർഖ ജന്മുക്തി മോർച്ച (GJM) റജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അംഗീകാരമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടിയാണ്[2].വടക്കൻ പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിൽ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ഗൂർഖാലാൻഡ് സംസ്ഥാനം രൂപീകരിക്കണം എന്നാണവരുടെ ആവശ്യം . 2007 ഒക്ടോബർ 7 നാണ് പാർട്ടി രൂപീകരിച്ചത്.
