കന്നഡ നാടക പ്രവർത്തകനും സംവിധായകനുമാണ് കെ.വി. അക്ഷര.[1] സമഗ്ര സംഭാവനയ്ക്കു 2014 ലെ കേന്ദ്ര സംഗീത നാടക അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ് നേടി.
ജീവിതരേഖ[തിരുത്തുക]
നാടക പ്രവർത്തകനായിരുന്ന കെ.വി. സുബ്ബണ്ണയുടെ മകനാണ്. അച്ഛൻ സ്ഫാപിച്ച നിനാസം എന്ന തിയേറ്റർ ഗ്രൂപ്പിനു നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്നു. [2] 'നിനാസം' ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ ട്രഷററാണ്.[3] [4] നാഷണൽ സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ഡ്രാമയിലും ലീഡ്സ് സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലും നാടക പഠനം നടത്തി.
കൃതികൾ[തിരുത്തുക]
നാടകങ്ങളുൾപ്പെടെ 15 കൃതികൾ രചിച്ചു. ഷേക്സ്പിയർ നാടകങ്ങൾ കന്നഡയിലേക്കു മൊഴിമാറ്റുകയും രംഗത്തവതരപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[5]
