ഉഗാണ്ടയിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം
ഉഗാണ്ടയിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം 3 ഘട്ടങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയതാണ്. 7 വർഷം നീണ്ട പ്രാഥമികവിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, 6 വർഷമുള്ള സെക്കണ്ടറി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, (ഇത് 4 വർഷമുള്ള ലോവർ സെക്കണ്ടറിയും 2 വർഷമുള്ള അപ്പർ സെക്കണ്ടറിയുമായി ഇതിനെ വിഭജിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്) 1960കൾ തുടങ്ങിയാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ സംവിധാനം നിലനിന്നുവരുന്നത്.
പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം[തിരുത്തുക]
1999ൽ 60 ലക്ഷം കുട്ടികൾക്കാണ് ഉഗാണ്ടയിൽ പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ലഭിച്ചത്. 1986ൽ ഇത് 20 ലക്ഷം മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. 1997ൽ ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിലെ 4 കുട്ടികൾക്കു വീതം സൗജന്യവിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നൽകുമെന്ന നയം നടപ്പിലായപ്പോഴാണ് സ്കൂളിൽ ചേരുന്ന കുട്ടികളുടെ എണ്ണം കൂടിയത്. എന്നാൽ പ്രാഥമികസ്കൂൾ കഴിഞ്ഞ ചിലർക്കു മാത്രമേ സെക്കണ്ടറി പഠനം സാദ്ധ്യമായുള്ളു.
