ചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
1974 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 1-ന് നിക്കോബാർ ജില്ല ആൻഡമാൻ ജില്ലയിൽ നിന്ന് വേർപെട്ടു. 2006 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 18-ന് ആൻഡമാൻ ജില്ലയെ രണ്ട് ജില്ലകളായി വിഭജിച്ചു: ഉത്തര-മധ്യ ആൻഡമാൻ ജില്ല, ദക്ഷിണ ആൻഡമാൻ ജില്ല.
