രാം ഗോപാൽ (രചയിതാവ്)
ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ എഴുത്തുകാരനും ചരിത്രകാരനുമാണ് രാം ഗോപാൽ (ജനനം: 1925).[1][2][3]
ജീവിതം
[തിരുത്തുക]ലോക്മാന്യ തിലകിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള അദ്ദേഹം തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ജീവചരിത്രം 'ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ ചരിത്ര പുസ്തകമായും ആധികാരികവും നിലവാരവുമുള്ള രചനയായി' പത്രങ്ങൾ കണക്കാക്കിയിരുന്നു. 'ഇത് വളരെ നന്നായി ചെയ്‌തിരിക്കുന്നു' എന്ന് ഇതിനെ വിലയിരുത്തി ദി ടൈംസ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.[അവലംബം ആവശ്യമാണ്] ഇന്ത്യൻ മുസ്‌ലിമുകൾ - ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചരിത്രം (1858-1947)എന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുസ്തകം ഏറെ പ്രശംസ നേടി. പൗരധർമ്മത്തെ കുറിച്ചും രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിന്റെയും നിരവധി പുസ്തകങ്ങളും രചിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.1942 ഓഗസ്റ്റിൽ ക്വിറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യ പ്രക്ഷോഭവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത് ലക്നൗ സെൻട്രൽ ജയിലിൽ അടച്ചിരുന്നു.[4] ആദ്യമായി തൊഴിൽ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചത് യു.പി.യിലെ അലഹബാദിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച പ്രഥമ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷാ ദിനപത്രത്തിൽ എഡിറ്റോറിയൽ ആയാണ്. ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് നിയമസഭാ കൗൺസിലിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു രാം ഗോപാൽ.
