മിഹ്റാബ്‌ Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba

മുസ്‌ലിം പള്ളികളുടെ മുൻ ഭിത്തിയിൽ അർദ്ധവൃത്തത്തിൽ ഉള്ള മാടം ആണ് മിഹ്റാബ്‌ (അറബി: محراب‎, miḥrāb, pl. محاريب maḥārīb), ( പേർഷ്യൻ: مهرابه‎, mihrāba). മുസ്‌ലിംകൾ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുമ്പോൾ നേരിടുന്ന മക്കയിലെ കഹ്ബ ആണ് അതിന്റെ ദിശ. ഇവിടെയാണ് നിസ്കാരത്തിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്ന ഇമാം നിൽക്കുന്നത്. ഇത് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച നിസ്കാരത്തിന് മുൻപ് ജനങ്ങളെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു ഇമാം നടത്തുന്ന ഖുതുബക്ക് വേണ്ടി നിൽക്കുന്ന മിൻബറിന്റെ ഇടത് വശത്താണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
