ഹിന്ദവി സ്വരാജ്യ
മറാത്ത സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാപകനായ ശിവാജിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പദമാണ് ഹിന്ദവി സ്വരാജ്യ (ഹിന്ദവി സ്വരാജ്യ; "ഹിന്ദു ജനതയുടെ സ്വയംഭരണം", വിദേശ ഭരണത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം എന്നർത്ഥം)[1][2][3]ശിവാജിയുടെ മരണശേഷം, സ്വരാജ്യ എന്ന പദം "ഹൈന്ദവി" കൂടാതെ "മറാഠ" എന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു വ്യാപകമായ ഉപയോഗത്തിൽ വന്നു. ആന്ദ്രേ വിങ്കിന്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ, "മറാത്ത സ്വരാജ്യ" എന്ന പദത്തിന്റെ അർത്ഥം ജമീന്ദാരി പരമാധികാരത്തിന്റെ ഒരു രൂപമാണ്, അത് ഏതെങ്കിലും പ്രത്യേക പ്രദേശവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കണമെന്നില്ല.[4] ശിവാജിയുടെ ഭരണകാലത്ത്, സ്വരാജ്യ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ വിജയത്തിന് കോലി ജാതി ഗണ്യമായ സംഭാവന നൽകി.[5]
