തെറാപ്പോഡ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു കുരുവിയോളം വലിപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചെറിയ ഒരു ദിനോസർ ആണ് . തൂവൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു ദിനോസർ ആണ് ഇവ. മരങ്ങളിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്ന ജീവിത ശൈലി ഉള്ള വയായിരുന്നു (arboreal ). മുൻകാലിലെ വിരലുകൾക്ക് അസാധാരണമായ നീളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[1]മധ്യ ജുറാസ്സിക് കാലത്തു ആണ് ഇവ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നത് .
ഫോസിൽ
[തിരുത്തുക]ഫോസിൽ ആയി ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത് രണ്ടു എണ്ണം ആണ് ആദ്യം ലഭിച്ച സ്പെസിമെൻ CAGS02-IG-gausa-1/DM 607 ഒരു വിരിഞ്ഞിറഞ്ഞിയ കുഞ്ഞിന്റെ ആണ് . രണ്ടാമത്തേത് എപിഡെൻഡ്രോസോറസ് എന്ന് നാമകരണം ചെയ്ത (IVPP V12653) എന്ന ഹോളോ ടൈപ്പ് ആണ് ഇതും പ്രായപൂർത്തി ആവാത്ത ചെറിയ സ്പെസിമെൻ ആണ് . ഇത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഇവയുടെ യഥാർത്ഥ വലിപ്പം ഇപ്പോൾ ലഭ്യമല്ല .[2][3]
