ഒന്നാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധശേഷം നടന്ന പാരീസ് സമാധാന സമ്മേളനത്തിന്റെ തുടർച്ചയായി 1920 ഏപ്രിൽ 19 മുതൽ 26 വരെ നടന്ന ഉച്ചകോടിയാണ് സാൻ റെമോ ഉച്ചകോടി. ഉച്ചകോടിയുടെ തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ 25 ഏപ്രിൽ 1920-ന് സാൻ റെമോ പ്രമേയമായി അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഒട്ടോമൻ പ്രവിശ്യകളായിരുന്ന പലസ്തീൻ, സിറിയ, മെസപ്പൊട്ടോമിയ എന്നീ പ്രദേശങ്ങൾക്കായി ലീഗ് ഓഫ് നേഷൻസിന്റെ മാൻഡേറ്റുകൾ അംഗീകരിച്ച ഉച്ചകോടി സോർ, ട്രാൻസ്ജോർദാൻ എന്നീ പ്രദേശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് മൗനം പാലിച്ചിരുന്നു. ബ്രിട്ടൻ, ഫ്രാൻസ്, ഇറ്റലി, ജപ്പാൻ തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളാണ് ഉച്ചകോടിയിൽ പങ്കാളികളായത്.[1]
