പണ്ടൊരു പത്രപ്രവർത്തകനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള ലേഖനം ഒഴിവാക്കിയപ്പോൾ ഇട്ടതാൺ. ഇവിടെയും പ്രസക്തമാണെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു.

മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകനായതു കൊണ്ട് വിക്കിയിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ നേടാൻ യോഗ്യനാകണമെന്നില്ല. പ്രഫഷണത്സിനെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിക്കിയിലുള്ള നയം ഇങ്ങനെയാണ്. നമുക്കു നയം ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ ഇങ്ങനെയൊന്നു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. പത്രപ്രവർത്തകരെ ഇതുപോലെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്താൻ തുടങ്ങിയാൽ വിക്കി പിന്നെ പിടിച്ചാൽ കിട്ടില്ല.

ഇതു മറ്റു പലരേയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള ലേഖനങ്ങൾക്ക് മാനദണ്ഡമാക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും വിധത്തിൽ ഒരു പത്രവാർത്ത വന്നരുടെ പേരിൽ ഒക്കെ വിക്കി ലേഖനം ഉണ്ടായെന്നു വരും. രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാർ അവരുടെ പ്രൊഫൈലിൽ മലയാളം വിക്കി ലിങ്ക് ചേർക്കുന്ന കാലം വരുമോ. അതിനാൽ ഈ വിജ്ഞാനകോശത്തിൽ ആരെ കുറിച്ചൊക്കെ ഉള്ള ലേഖനം വരാം എന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ വ്യക്തമായ ഒരു നയം രൂപീകരിക്കേണ്ടത് അത്യാവശ്യമാകുന്നു. ഇപ്പോക്ക് പോയാൽ കേരളത്തിലെ മൂന്നു കോടി ജനങ്ങൾക്കും ഓരോ വിക്കി പേജ് ഉണ്ടകുന്ന കാലം വിദൂരമല്ല. --Shiju Alex 05:34, 18 ജൂൺ 2007 (UTC)[മറുപടി]

ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു മാനദണ്ഡം ഉണ്ടാവുന്നതു വരെ ഈ ലേഖനം നീക്കം ചെയ്യരുത് എന്നാണ് എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം. കാര്യം - പുള്ളി ഒട്ടും പ്രശസ്തനല്ലാത്ത വ്യക്തി അല്ല, (സാമൂഹിക പ്രവർത്തകനും ആണ്), എന്നാൽ അത്ര പ്രശസ്തനുമല്ല. Simynazareth 06:22, 18 ജൂൺ 2007 (UTC)simynazareth[മറുപടി]
