     SANGEETHA SHREE T. S. JAIRAJ is a most talented born singer from Kerala. He has proved his talents as Anchor , Music Direction, and Teaching. Currently engaged as the Managing Director of SREE THYAGARAJA SCHOOL OF MUSIC & DANCE.

SANGEETHA SHREE T. S. JAIRAJ is born from a family of rich musical heritage was exposed to music from the early age. He complete his schooling from LPGS and Chemmanthoor H.S. Punalur. He conducted his first classical music concerts at the age of 7. Along with vocal he got expertise in instrumental music like veena, Thabla, Mrindangam, Guitar, Key-board and Harmonium. Jairaj won several recognition's at state level for Ganamela, Vrindavadyam, Veena, Kadhaprasangam, classical music and Ottanthullal. He has also won ‘Kalaprathibha’ title at various school meets.

He is currently engaged as the Managing Director of SREE THYAGARAJA SCHOOL OF MUSIC & DANCE, Punalur for the last 13 years which was established in 1928 by his late grand father Mr. Attingal Ramaswami Bhagavather. This school has been working in Punalur since 1928 it is affiliated to Sangeet Natak Akademi, Kerala (1973) and Central Sangeet Natak Academi, New Delhi (2001). Jairaj graduated in Ganabhooshanam from Sree Swathi Thirunal College of Music in 1994. He has successfully completed Indian technical examination for music in Indian music lower and Indian music higher grade from Chennai in 1998. Till date, Jairaj as independently composed above 500 songs, which includes light music, Devotional, Group songs, Album songs etc and is aiming to be a professional music director.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

‘SANGEETHA SREE’ State Award - for Karnatic music was received from the then Cultural Minister G. Karthikeyan in 2004.
‘SANGEETHA RATNA’ State Award - for Music Direction was received from His highness Thiruvithamcoor Padmanabhadasa Uthradam Thirunal Marthanda Varma in 2009.
‘SWATHI AWARD’ - for music direction was received in 2009. Etc!

FAMILY DETAILS

His Father is Mr. Punalur S. R. Thyagarajan, Rtd. Music Teacher, Music Director and Carnatic Musician, Mother is Mrs. R. Shailaja Thyagarajan, Rtd. Music Teacher, Singer, Veena artist, Dubbing artist and Actor in All India Radio, Doordarshan, Thiruvananthapuram. T. S. Jairaj is a Grandchild of late Mr. Attingal Ramaswami Bhagavathar, who was a music director for KPAC (Kerala Peoples Arts Club) in initial days and late Mrs. Lakshmikutty Bhagavathar. His close family includes names like Late Mr. Kalanjoor Ramakrishna Pillai (writer), Mr. R. S. Vijayakumar (Violinist). Punalur T. S. Sangeetha is his sister . she is Post Graduate in Carnatic Music. Currently working as a Music Teacher at Chemmanthoor H. S., Punalur. She is also a singer in All-India Radio and Kairali TV artist. T. S. Divya is also his sister currently employed with Central Bank of India, she is completed her Indian Music lower and higher from Chennai. T. S. Jairaj's wife Vaikom Sreelakshmi is active in Malayalam literature as a writer. His childrens are Avanthika Jairaj, J. S. Sravan Ram & J. S. Karthik Ram.
