റേഡിയോ തരംഗങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെയുള്ള ആകാശനിരീക്ഷണം സാധ്യമാക്കുന്ന ദൂരദർശിനിയാണ് റേഡിയോ ദൂരദർശിനി.ലോകത്തിലെ ആദ്യ റാഡിയോ ദൂരദർശിനി നിർമ്മിച്ചത് കാൾ ജാൻസ്കി എന്ന എൻജിനിയർ ആണ്. ഇലക്ടോ-മാഗ്നെറ്റിൿ സ്പെക്ട്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഭാഗമായ റാഡിയോ തരംഗങ്ങളാണ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.
