ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തിന്റെ വിപ്ലവകാരിയും രക്തസാക്ഷിയുമായിരുന്നു രാമേശ്വർ ബാനർജി (ബംഗാളി: রামেশ্বর বন্দোদ্ধাত্যায়; 1925 ഫെബ്രുവരി 8 - 1945 നവംബർ 21) 1942 ൽ ക്വിറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യാ സമരത്തിൽ പങ്കുചേർന്നു. ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഭരണത്തിനെതിരായും ഇന്ത്യൻ നാഷണൽ ആർമിയിലെ ഓഫീസർമാരെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും വേണ്ടി നടത്തിയ റാലിയിൽ വെച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പോലീസ് വെടിവെച്ചു കൊലപ്പെടുത്തി.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
