മേരി ഡിമ്മിക്ക് ഹാരിസൺ (ജീവിതകാലം: ഏപ്രിൽ 30, 1858 – ജനുവരി 5, 1948) അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളുടെ ഇരുപത്തിമൂന്നാമത്തെ പ്രസിഡൻറായിരുന്ന ബെഞ്ചമിൻ ഹാരിസണിൻറെ രണ്ടാം പത്നിയായിരുന്നു. അവർ ബെഞ്ചമിൻ ഹാരിസണേക്കാൾ 25 വയസിന് ഇളയതായിരുന്നു. അതുപോലെതന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ ആദ്യഭാര്യയുടെ സഹോദരൻറെ മകൾകൂടിയായിരുന്നു.

പെൻസിൽവാനിയയിലെ ഹോണെസ്ഡെയിലിൽ ജനിച്ച മേരി സ്കോട്ട് ലോർഡ്, ഡിലാവെയർ & ഹഡ്സൺ കനാലിൻറെ (പിന്നീട് ഡിലാവെയർ & ഹഡ്സൺ റെയിൽവേ) ചീഫ് എൻജിനീയറായിരുന്ന റസ്സൽ ഫാൺഹാം ലോർഡിൻറെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ പത്നി എലിസബത്ത് മെയ്ഹ്യൂ സ്കോട്ടിൻറെും മകളായിരുന്നു.^[1]

1881 ഒക്ടോബർ 22 ൻ അവർ പെൻസിൽവാനിയയിലെ ഒരു അറ്റോർണി ജനറലിൻറെ പുത്രനായ വാൾട്ടർ എർക്കിനെ ഡിമ്മിക്കിനെ (ജൂലൈ 4, 1856 – ജനുവരി 14, 1882) വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. അവരുടെ വിവാഹം കഴിഞ്ഞ് 3 മാസം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ വാൾട്ടർ എർക്ക് മരണമടഞ്ഞു. അക്കാലത്ത് മേരി ഡിമ്മിക്കിന് 23 വയസായിരുന്നു പ്രായം.^[2] ബെഞ്ചമിൻ ഹാരിസണിൻറെ പത്നിയായിരുന്ന കരോലിൻ ഹാരിസണിൻറെ സഹോദരപുത്രിയായിരുന്ന മേരി ഡിമ്മിക്ക് വൈറ്റ്ഹൌസിലേയ്ക്കു താമസം മാറ്റുകയും പ്രഥമവനിതയുടെ അസിസ്റ്റൻഡായി ചുമതലയേറ്റെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1892 ൽ മിസ്സിസ് ഹാരിസണിൻറെ മരണത്തിനു ശേഷം മുൻപ്രസിഡൻറും മിസിസ് ഡിമ്മിക്കും പ്രണയത്തിലാകുകയും 1895 ൽ വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

1896 ഏപ്രിൽ 6 ന് 37 ആമത്തെ വയസിൽ ന്യൂയോർക്ക് നഗരത്തിലെ സെൻറ് തോമസ് പ്രൊട്ടസ്റ്റൻറ് എപ്പിസ്കോപ്പൽ പള്ളിയിൽവച്ച് അവർ 62 വയസുകാരനായ മുൻപ്രസിഡൻറിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു.^[3]^[4] ഹാരിസണിൻറെ ആദ്യവിവാഹത്തിലെ മുതിർന്ന കുട്ടികൾ ഈ വാർത്തകേട്ട് ചകിതരാവുകയും വിവാഹചടങ്ങുകളിൽനിന്ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഹാരിസണിൻറെ ഭരണത്തിൽ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻറായിരുന്ന ലെവി പി. മോർട്ടനും അനേകം കാബിനറ്റ് അംഗങ്ങളും, മുൻ നേവി സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്ന ബെഞ്ചമിന് എഫ്. ട്രാസിയും അതിഥികളായി പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നു. ദമ്പതികൾ ഇന്ത്യനാപോളിസിൽ താമസം ആരംഭിക്കുകുയം ചെയ്തു. ഈ ദമ്പതിമാർക്ക് എലിസബത്ത് (ഹാരിസൺ) വാക്കർ (1897–1955) എന്ന പേരിൽ ഇന്ത്യാനാപോളിസിൽവച്ച് ഒരു മകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇവർ പിന്നീട് ഒരു അഭിഭാഷകയായിത്തീർന്നു.

1948 ജനുവരി 5 ന് ന്യൂയോർക്ക് നഗരത്തിൽ വച്ച് ആസ്‌തമ ബാധിച്ചിതിൻറെ ഫലമായി അവർ മരണമടയുകയും ഇന്ത്യാനയിലെ ഇന്ത്യനാപോളിസിലുള്ള ക്രൌൺ ഹിൽ സെമിത്തേരിയിൽ മറവു ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു.^[5]^[6]
