ശരീരത്തിലെ സയോജകകലകളെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന ഒരു അപൂർവ രോഗമാണ് ഫൈബ്രോഡിസ്‌പ്ലാസിയ ഓസിഫിക്കൻസ് പ്രോഗ്രെസ്സിവ അഥവാ ഫ് ഓ പി . ശരീരത്തിലെ കേടുപാട് തീർക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയയിൽ വരുന്ന മ്യൂറ്റേഷൻ കാരണം സയോജകകലകളിൽ ദൃഡീകരണം സംഭവിക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണ് ഇതു. സ്‌നായു (ദശനാര്) , കെട്ട്‌നാര്‌ , പേശികൾ എന്നിവയെ ആണ് ഇതു ബാധിക്കുന്നതു.[1]
