Usage

This template is used in conjunction with m:Special:UrlShortener, which creates short urls that can redirect to any page hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation.

Example

• The url https://w.wiki/tR redirects to Template:Short URL/doc
• {{short URL|tR}} creates tR, which also links here
• A second, optional parameter can be included to specify the display text; otherwise, it defaults to the redirect's code, in this case tR
• {{short URL|tR|documentation}} creates documentation
