നവനാസ്തികത
നാാസ്തിക ദർശനത്തിൽ ഇരുപത്തിയൊന്നാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ രൂപപ്പെട്ട നവധാരയെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കാനായി നവനാസ്തികത എന്ന പദം ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
2006-ൽ ഗാരി വുൾഫ് എന്ന പത്രപ്രവർത്തകനാണ് ഈ പദം രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്[1][2].
മതങ്ങൾ, അന്ധവിശ്വാസങ്ങൾ, യുക്തിവിരുദ്ധ ദർശനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയെ വെച്ചുപൊറുപ്പിക്കരുത് എന്നും അവയെ വിമർശനത്തിലൂടെ വെല്ലുവിളിക്കണമെന്നും ഇക്കൂട്ടർ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. ഭരണകൂടം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, രാഷ്ട്രീയം എന്നിവയിൽ മതകീയ സ്വാധീനങ്ങൾ കടന്നുവരുന്നതിനെയും ഇവർ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുന്നു[3][4].
നാല് കുതിരക്കാർ എന്ന വിശേഷണത്തിലറിയപ്പെടുന്ന നാസ്തികചിന്തകരാണ് നവനാസ്തികതയുടെ നേതാക്കളായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. റിച്ചാർഡ് ഡോക്കിൻസ്, സാം ഹാരിസ്, ക്രിസ്റ്റഫർ ഹിച്ചൻസ്, ഡാനിയേൽ ഡെന്നറ്റ് എന്നിവരാണ് ഇവ്വിധം അറിയപ്പെട്ടത്. ഇവരോടൊപ്പമുള്ള അയാൻ ഹിർസി അലി എന്ന വനിത കുതിരക്കാരി എന്നും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
തീവ്ര നാസ്തികർ, മൗലികവാദ നാസ്തികർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ മറ്റു നാസ്തികരടക്കമുള്ള നിരീക്ഷകർ ഇവരെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്[5][6][7][8].
ചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
2004ൽ സാം ഹാരിസ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച, അമേരിക്കയിൽ ബെസ്റ്റ് സെല്ലറായിരുന്ന ദി എന്റ് ഓഫ് ഫെയ്ത്ത്: റിലിജിയൻ, ടെറർ, ആന്റ് ദ ഫ്യൂച്ചർ ഓഫ് റീസൺ എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിനു ശേഷം തുടർന്നുള്ള വർഷങ്ങളിൽ മറ്റ് എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ ജനപ്രിയങ്ങളായ അനേകം ബെസ്റ്റ് സെല്ലറുകൾ പുറത്തുവന്നു.[9][10] 2001 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 11-ലെ ഭീകരാക്രമണമാണ് ഈ പുസ്തകമെഴുതാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഈ കൃതിയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഇസ്‌ലാം മതത്തിനാണെന്ന് വിലയിരുത്തുന്നു. അതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ ക്രിസ്തുമതത്തേയും ജൂതമതത്തേയും വിമർശിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.[11] രണ്ട് വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുശേഷം, ക്രിസ്തുമതത്തെ നിശിതമായി വിമർശിക്കുന്ന ലെറ്റർ റ്റു എ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ നേഷൻ എന്ന പുസ്തകം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റേതായി പുറത്തുവന്നു.[12] 2006ൽത്തന്നെ പുറത്തുവന്ന ദി റൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഓൾ ഈവിൾ ? എന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ടെലി-ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി സീരീസിനു ശേഷമാണ് ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ടൈംസിന്റെ ബെസ്റ്റ് സെല്ലർ ലിസ്റ്റിൽ 51 ആഴ്ച ഇടംപിടിച്ച ദി ഗോഡ് ഡിലൂഷൻ എന്ന പുസ്തകം റിച്ചാഡ് ഡോക്കിൻസ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നത്.[13]
