എച്ച്. ഡി. എന്ന തൂലികാനാമത്തിൽ എഴുതുന്ന ഹിൽഡ എച്ച്. ഡി. ഡൂലിറ്റിൽ (September 10, 1886 – September 27, 1961) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ കവയിത്രിയും നോവലിസ്റ്റും ഓർമ്മക്കുരിപ്പുകൾ എഴുതുന്ന എഴുത്തുകാരിയും ആകുന്നു. എസ്ര പൗൺഡ്, റിച്ചാർഡ് ആൽഡിങ്‌ടൺ എന്നിവരേപ്പോലെ അവരും ആധുനികോത്തര ഇമാജിസ്റ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. എച്ച്. ഡി. എന്ന തൂലികാനാമത്തിലാണ് അവർ എഴുതിയത്. ഹിൽഡ, പെൻസിൽവാനിയായിലെ ബേത്‌ലഹെമിൽ 1886 ലാണ് ജനിച്ചത്. 1911 ൽ ലണ്ടനിലേയ്ക്കു മാറിത്താമസിച്ചു. അന്നത്തെ ബിംബവാദ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പ്രധാന റോൾ വഹിച്ചു. സ്വാധീന്മുള്ള വ്യക്തിത്വമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന അവർ 1916-17 കാലത്ത് ഈഗോയിസ്റ്റ് മാസികയുടെ സാഹിത്യ എഡിറ്റർ ആയി. പക്ഷെ അവരുടെ കവിതകൾ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് റിവ്യു, ട്രാൻസ് അറ്റ്ലാന്റിക്ക് റിവ്യു എന്നീ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങളിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഒന്നാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഹിൽഡയുടെ സഹോദരൻ കൊല്ലപ്പെടുകയും റിച്ചാർഡ് ആൽഡിംഗ്ടണുമായുള്ള വിവാഹബന്ധം തകരുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈ സംഭവങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ പിന്നീടുള്ള കവിതകളിൽ പ്രതിഫലിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഗ്ലെൻ ഹ്യൂഗ്സ് ബിംബവാദകൽപ്പനയുടെ പ്രധാന പ്രയോക്താക്കളിൽ ഒരാളാണ്. അദ്ദേഹം എഴുതുന്നത്, "അവരുടെ ഏകാന്തത അവളുടെ കവിതകളിൽനിന്നും കരയുന്നു" എന്നാണ്.
