ഹ്യൂമൻ കോറിയോണിക് ഗോണഡോട്രോപിൻ ( എച്ച്സിജി ) ഗർഭാവസ്ഥയെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിനുള്ള ഒരു ഹോർമോണാണ്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്:Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) വളരുന്ന ഭ്രൂണത്തിന് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ട്രോഫോബ്ലാസ്റ്റ് കോശങ്ങൾ ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു (ആദ്യം സിൻസിറ്റിയോട്രോഫോബ്ലാസ്റ്റ് ഇത് ഇംപ്ലാന്റേഷനുശേഷം പ്ലാസന്റ രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നു)..
