ബാബാ ഗുർബചൻ സിങ്
സിഖ് മതത്തിലെ പ്രബലമായ നിരങ്കാരി വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ ആത്മീയഗുരുവായിരുന്നു ബാബാ ഗുർബചൻ സിങ്(10 ഡിസം: 1930 – 24 ഏപ്രിൽ 1980 ).[1] അവതാർ സിങ്,ബുദ്ധ്വന്തി എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ.പെഷവാറിലും റാവൽപിണ്ടിയിലുമായി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം കഴിച്ച ഗുർബചൻ വിഭജനത്തെത്തുടർന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയിലേയ്ക്കു മടങ്ങി.
മതരംഗത്ത്[തിരുത്തുക]
നിരങ്കാരി വിഭാഗത്തിനു സിഖ്മതത്തിലെ യാതാസ്ഥിതികരുടെ എതിർപ്പ് നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നു. സംഘട്ടനങ്ങൾ പതിവായതിനെത്തുടർന്നു ഗുർബചന്റെ സന്ദർശങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്രമീകരണവും നിയന്ത്രണവും അധികാരികൾ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി.[2]

1980 ഡൽഹിയിലെ നിരങ്കാരിവിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ കേന്ദ്രനിർവ്വഹണ കാര്യാലയത്തിൽ വച്ച് രജ്ഞിത് സിങ് എന്നയാളുടെ വെടിയേറ്റ് ഗുർബചൻ സിങ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. [3]
