സീൻ ബി. കറോൾ(ജനനം: 1960 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 17) വിസ്കോൺസിൽ സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ തന്മാത്രാജീവശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെയും ജെനെറ്റിക്സിന്റെയും മെഡിക്കൽ ജെനറ്റിക്സിന്റെയും പ്രൊഫസ്സർ ആണ്. ഡ്രോസോഫില ഈച്ചയെ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ജൈവിക വികാസത്തെ അധികരിച്ച് ജീനിന്റെ പ്രകടനം നയന്ത്രിതമാക്കാനുള്ള സി. ഐ. എസ് നിയന്ത്രണ സംവിധാനത്തിന്റെ ( cis-regulatory elements in the regulation of gene expression in the context of biological development) ഉത്പത്തിയെപ്പറ്റി അദ്ദേഹം പഠിച്ചു. ഹോവാർഡ് ഹ്യൂഗ്സ് മെഡിക്കൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിട്യൂട്ടിന്റെ ഗവേഷകനാണദ്ദേഹം. 2010 മുതൽ സീൻ ബി. കറോൾ ഹോവാർഡ് ഹ്യൂഗ്സ് മെഡിക്കൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിട്യൂട്ടിലെ സയൻസ് ഇൻസ്റ്റിട്യൂട്ടിന്റെ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. സെന്റ് ലുയിസിലെ വാഷിങ്ടൺ സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലാണ് കറോൾ തന്റെ ഉന്നതപഠനം നടത്തിയത്. തുടർന്ന്, ടഫ്റ്റ്സ് സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നും പിഎച്ച്. ഡി നേടി. [2]
