മംഗലാപുരം നഗരത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗത്തായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന സെന്റ് അലോഷ്യസ് കോളേജ് കാമ്പസിൽ ഉള്ള ഒരു മ്യൂസിയമാണ് അലോഷ്യം.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] 1913 ലാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിതമായത്.[8]
ചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
1913 ൽ ചിയാപ്പി എന്ന ഇറ്റാലിയൻ ജെസ്യൂട്ട് പുരോഹിതൻ സമാഹരിച്ച 2000 ഓളം വ്യത്യസ്ത ധാതുക്കളും ഹെർബേറിയവും റോമൻ നാണയങ്ങളുമായി ഈ മ്യൂസിയത്തിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചു.[8] 1906 ൽ മംഗലാപുരത്ത് ആദ്യമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ച വാഹനമാണ് ഡി ഡിയോൺ കാർ. ഹൈലാൻഡ് കോഫി വർക്ക്സിന്റെ പി.എഫ്.എക്സ് സൽദൻഹയാണ് മംഗലാപുരത്തിലേക്ക് ഈ കാർ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്തത്. ഈ മ്യൂസിയത്തിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള സുവനീറുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഈ കാർ.[9] പുരാതന തലമുറ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന കാർഷിക ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെയും പാത്രങ്ങളുടെയും ശേഖരവും മ്യൂസിയത്തിലുണ്ട്.[8]
