ക്രൈസ്തവസയണിസം
ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള യഹൂദരിൽ വലിയൊരു ഭാഗത്തിന്റെ പലസ്തീനയിലേക്കുള്ള ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ മടക്കവും ഇസ്രായേൽ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാപനവും ബൈബിളിലെ പ്രവചനങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുസൃതമാണെന്ന ചില ക്രിസ്തീയവിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസമാണ് ക്രൈസ്തവസയണിസം' എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. മുൻപ് ഈ മനോഭാവത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത് 'പുനഃസ്ഥാപനവാദം' (Restorationism) എന്ന പേരായിരുന്നു. പത്തൊൻപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ അവസാനകാലത്ത് യഹൂദതയിലെ സയണിസ്റ്റ് പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ആവിർഭാവത്തെ തുടർന്നാണ് 'ക്രൈസ്തവസയണിസം' എന്ന പേര് പ്രയോഗത്തിൽ വന്നത്.[1][2]
പരമ്പരാഗതമായ കത്തോലിക്കാചിന്തയിൽ സയണിസം ഒരു രൂപത്തിലും പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നില്ല;[3]യഹൂദജനതയുടെ 'പുനഃസ്ഥാപനത്തിന്' ക്രൈസ്തവലോകത്ത് പിന്തുണയുണ്ടായത് പ്രൊട്ടസ്റ്റന്റ് നവീകരണത്തെ തുടർന്നാണ്.
യേശുവിന്റെ രണ്ടാം വരവിനു (Second Coming) മുൻപ് ഇസ്രായേലിൽ യഹൂദരുടെ 'പുനഃസ്ഥാപനം' നടക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ടെന്ന് ചില ക്രിസ്തീയവിഭാഗങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. ഈ വിശ്വാസം മുഖ്യമായും, ദൈവം വിവിധജനതകളോട് വിവിധകാലങ്ങളിൽ വിവിധവിധം ഉടമ്പടികളിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന 'ഡിസ്പെൻസേഷനലിസ്റ്റ്' (Dispensationalism) ചിന്താധാരയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. ബൈബിളിലെ പ്രവചനങ്ങളുടെ പൂർത്തീകരണത്തിനായി പലസ്തീനയിൽ യഹൂദരുടെ പുനസ്ഥാപനത്തെ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾ പിന്തുണക്കണമെന്ന വിശ്വാസം, യഹൂദരെ ക്രിസ്തുമതം സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കണമെന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തിനൊപ്പം പ്രൊട്ടസ്റ്റന്റ് ചിന്തയിൽ നവീകരണകാലം മുതൽ നിലവിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[4][5][6] ക്രൈസ്തവസയണിസ്റ്റുകളിൽ ചിലർ, ദൈവജനത്തോട് ഒട്ടിച്ചുചേർക്കപ്പെട്ട 'പുറജാതികളായ' (Gentiles) ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾക്കൊപ്പം യഹൂദരും ഇപ്പോഴും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനമായി തുടരുന്നു എന്ന ഉഭയഉടമ്പടിയുടെ ദൈവശാസ്ത്രം (dual covenant theology) പിന്തുടരുന്നു.
