ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ഡോക്ടറാണ് കൃഷ്ണ പ്രസാദ് മാത്തൂർ, മുൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധിയുടെ സ്വകാര്യ വൈദ്യനായിരുന്നു.[1] മുൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ 1984 ഒക്ടോബർ 31 ന് ബിയാന്ത് സിങ്ങും സത്വന്ത് സിങ്ങും വധിക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധിയെ സന്ദർശിച്ച അവസാനത്തെ ആളുകളിൽ ഒരാളായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.[2]
ഇന്ത്യ സർക്കാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ 1984 -ൽ നാലാം ഉയർന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ സിവിലിയൻ അവാർഡായ പത്മശ്രീ നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു.[3]
കാണപ്പെടാത്ത ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധി: അവളുടെ വൈദ്യന്റെ കണ്ണിലൂടെ (The Unseen Indira Gandhi: Through Her Physician’s Eyes) എന്ന് ഇന്ദിരാ ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ഒരു ജീവചരിത്രം മാത്തൂർ എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[4]
