സോയി ഇസബെല്ല ക്രാവിറ്റ്സ് (ജനനം ഡിസംബർ 1, 1988[1]) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നടിയും ഗായികയും മോഡലുമാണ്. നോ റിസർവേഷൻസ് (2007) എന്ന റൊമാന്റിക് കോമഡി ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് അവർ തന്റെ അഭിനയ രംഗത്ത് അരങ്ങേറ്റം നടത്തിയത്. എക്‌സ്-മെൻ: ഫസ്റ്റ് ക്ലാസ് (2011) എന്ന സൂപ്പർഹീറോ ചിത്രത്തിലെ എയ്ഞ്ചൽ സാൽവഡോറിനെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതിലൂടെയാണ് മുന്നേറ്റം നടത്തിയ അവർ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിലൂടെ ടീൻ ചോയ്‌സ് അവാർഡ്, സ്‌ക്രീം അവാർഡ് നോമിനേഷനുകൾ നേടി. ദി ഡൈവർജന്റ് സിനിമാ പരമ്പരയിൽ (2014-2016) ക്രിസ്റ്റീന എന്ന കഥാപാത്രമായും ഫന്റാസ്റ്റിക് ബീസ്റ്റ്സ് സിനിമാ പരമ്പരയിലെ (2016-2022) ലെറ്റ ലെസ്‌ട്രേഞ്ച് എന്ന കഥാപാത്രമായും അഭിനയിച്ച് അവർ പ്രശസ്തിയിലേക്ക് ഉയർന്നു.
ആദ്യകാലം[തിരുത്തുക]
ലോസ് ഏഞ്ചൽസിലെ വെനീസിൽ നടി ലിസ ബോണറ്റിന്റെയും സംഗീതജ്ഞൻ ലെന്നി ക്രാവിറ്റ്സിന്റെയും മകളായി ക്രാവിറ്റ്സ് ജനിച്ചു.[2] മാതാപിതാക്കൾ രണ്ടുപേരും പകുതി ആഫ്രിക്കൻ-അമേരിക്കൻ, പകുതി ജൂത വംശജരാണ്.[3][4] അവളുടെ പിതൃ മുത്തശ്ശി, നടി റോക്സി റോക്കറും, മാതൃ മുത്തച്ഛൻ അലൻ ബോണറ്റgx ആഫ്രിക്കൻ അമേരിക്കക്കാരും അവളുടെ മുത്തശ്ശിയുടെ കുടുംബത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ചിലർ ബഹാമാസിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരുമായിരുന്നു.[5] അവളുടെ പിതാമഹൻ, എൻബിസി ടെലിവിഷൻ ന്യൂസ് പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർ സൈ ക്രാവിറ്റ്സ്, മാതൃ മുത്തശ്ശി ആർലിൻ ലിറ്റ്മാൻ എന്നിവർ അഷ്കെനാസി ജൂതന്മാരായിരുന്നു. ക്രാവിറ്റ്സിന്റെ പിതാമഹന്റെ കുടുംബം റഷ്യയിൽ നിന്ന് കുടിയേറിയവരാണ്.[6][7][8][9] ക്രാവിറ്റ്സ് തന്നെ ഒരു മതേതര ജൂത വംശജയായി തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു.[10] അവളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ആൽബമായ മാമാ സെയ്‌ഡിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള "ഫ്ലവേഴ്‌സ് ഫോർ സോയ്" എന്ന ഗാനം രണ്ട് വയസ്സുള്ള സോയ്‌ക്കായി എഴുതിയതാണ്.[11]
മാതാപിതാക്കൾ 1987-ൽ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ച മാതാപിതാക്കൾ 1993-ൽ സോയിക്ക് അഞ്ച് വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ വിവാഹമോചനം നേടി.[12] മാതാവിനോടൊപ്പം ടോപാംഗ കാന്യോണിൽ താമസിച്ച സോയി 11-ാം വയസ്സിൽ മിയാമിയിലേക്ക് താമസം മാറി, പിതാവിനോടൊപ്പം താമസിക്കുകയും വേനൽക്കാലത്ത് മാതാവിനോടൊപ്പം ചെലവഴിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[13][14] നടൻ ജേസൺ മോമോയുമായുള്ള മാതാവിൻറെ രണ്ടാം വിവാഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ക്രാവിറ്റ്സിന് ലോല ഇയോലാനി മോമോവ എന്ന ഒരു ഇളയ അർദ്ധസഹോദരിയും നക്കോവ-വുൾഫ് മനകൗപോ നമാകേഹ മൊമോവ[15] എന്ന അർദ്ധസഹോദരനുമുണ്ട്.[16]
