സ്പോട്ടെഡ്-ബ്ളാക്കെഡ് വീവർ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ബ്ളാക്ക്-ഹെഡെഡ് വീവർ (the latter leading to easy confusion with P. melanocephalus) എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന വില്ലേജ് വീവർ (Ploceus cucullatus), ഉപ-സഹാറൻ ആഫ്രിക്കയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന പ്ലോസിഡേ കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഇനം പക്ഷിയാണ്. ഹിസ്പാനിയോള, മൗറീഷ്യസ്, റീയൂണിയൻ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും ഇതിനെ കാണാൻ കഴിയും.
