ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫോറിൻ സർവീസ് കേഡറിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ സിവിൽ സെർവന്റാണ് റിവ ഗാംഗുലി ദാസ്(ജനനം 24 ഡിസംബർ 1961). 1986 ബാച്ച് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫോറിൻ സർവീസ് ഓഫീസറായ ശ്രീമതി ദാസ് നിലവിൽ ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ മുൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹൈക്കമ്മീഷണറും ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനമായ ഇന്ത്യൻ കൗൺസിൽ ഫോർ കൾച്ചറൽ റിലേഷൻസ് മുൻ ഡയറക്ടർ ജനറലുമാണ്. ASEAN ഫോറത്തിൽ തീവ്രവാദം, സൈബർ സുരക്ഷ എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഇന്ത്യയുടെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകൾ എം‌ഇ‌എ സെക്ട്രറി റിവ ദാസ് എടുത്തുകാണിക്കുന്നു.

സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]

റിവ ഗാംഗുലി ദാസ് തന്റെ ബാല്യം ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിൽ ചെലവഴിച്ചു. 1984 ൽ ഡൽഹി യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ സയൻസിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം നേടി. പിന്നീട് അവർ ഡൽഹി യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ശാസ്ത്രം പഠിപ്പിച്ചു. 1988 ൽ വിവാഹിതയായ അവർക്ക് രണ്ട് കുട്ടികളുണ്ട്: ഒരു മകളും ഒരു മകനും.

1986 ൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫോറിൻ സർവീസിൽ ചേർന്നു. [7] അവരുടെ ആദ്യ പോസ്റ്റിംഗ് സ്പെയിനിലായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ അവർ മാഡ്രിഡിൽ നിന്ന് സ്പാനിഷ് പഠിച്ചു. [5]ധാക്കയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹൈക്കമ്മീഷന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക വിഭാഗത്തിനും അവർ നേതൃത്വം നൽകി. [5] തുടർന്ന്, ന്യൂ ഡൽഹിയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൽ ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭയുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക, സാമൂഹിക കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ (UNES) വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ഡയറക്ടറായി അവർ സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. ഹേഗിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ എംബസിയിലെ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ചീഫ് ഓഫ് മിഷനും റിവേ ഗാംഗുലി ദാസും രാസായുധ നിരോധന സംഘടനയായ ഹേഗിലെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഇതര സ്ഥിരം പ്രതിനിധിയുമായിരുന്നു. [8] ജയ്പൂരിൽ റീജിയണൽ പാസ്പോർട്ട് ഓഫീസറായും അവർ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.[8]

പിന്നീട്, അവർ ന്യൂ ഡൽഹിയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിലെ പബ്ലിക് ഡിപ്ലോമസി വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ തലവനായിരുന്നു. [9][8]ന്യൂ ഡൽഹിയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിലെ ലാറ്റിൻ അമേരിക്ക & കരീബിയൻ ഡിവിഷനും അവർ നേതൃത്വം നൽകി. [8][10] 2015 മാർച്ചിൽ റിവാ ഗാംഗുലി ദാസിനെ റൊമാനിയയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ അംബാസഡറായി നിയമിച്ചു. [11] 2015 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ, ബുക്കറസ്റ്റിൽ (റൊമാനിയ) താമസിക്കുന്ന അവർക്ക് അൽബേനിയയിലെയും മോൾഡോവയിലെയും ഇന്ത്യൻ അംബാസഡറായി ഒരേസമയം അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു. [1] 2016 മാർച്ച് മുതൽ 2017 ജൂലൈ വരെ അവർ ന്യൂയോർക്കിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ കോൺസൽ ജനറലായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. [12]

2019 മാർച്ചിൽ, ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹൈക്കമ്മീഷണറായി അവർ നിയമിതയായി. [13] 2020 ആഗസ്റ്റിൽ, MEA യുടെ സെക്രട്ടറി (ഈസ്റ്റ്) ആയി അവർ നിയമിതയായി. [14]

കോൺഫെഡറേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രി (CII) MEA- യുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തോടെ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഇന്തോ-പസഫിക് ബിസിനസ് ഉച്ചകോടിയുടെ ആദ്യ പതിപ്പിന്റെ പ്രത്യേക സെഷനിൽ വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയം (MEA) സെക്രട്ടറി റിവ ഗാംഗുലി ദാസ് സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഷെയ്ഖ് ഹസീനയുടെ ഒരു വിടവാങ്ങൽ യോഗത്തിൽ ദക്ഷിണേഷ്യയിലെ അയൽരാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ സ്വന്തം ജനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയോജനത്തിനായി "മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട സഹകരണം" ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണമെന്ന് റിവ ഗാംഗുലി ദാസ് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.[15]

ഡൽഹി യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ സയൻസിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദധാരിയായ അവർ ഫോറിൻ സർവീസിൽ ചേരുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഡൽഹി സർവകലാശാലയിൽ ലക്ചറർ ആയിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ ആദ്യ പോസ്റ്റിംഗ് സ്പെയിനിലായിരുന്നു. അതിനുശേഷം, അവർ ആസ്ഥാനത്ത് ബാഹ്യ പബ്ലിസിറ്റി, നേപ്പാൾ, പാസ്‌പോർട്ട്/വിസ ജോലി എന്നിവ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തു. ധാക്കയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹൈക്കമ്മീഷന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ തലവനായിരുന്നു അവർ. ധാക്കയിൽ നിന്ന് തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ ശേഷം, ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭയുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക സാമൂഹിക കാര്യ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ഡയറക്ടറായി ചുമതലയേറ്റ അവർ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പാരിസ്ഥിതിക ചർച്ചകളിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഹേഗിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ എംബസിയിലെ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ചീഫ് ഓഫ് മിഷനായിരുന്നു അവർ. ഹേഗിലെ രാസായുധ നിരോധനത്തിനുള്ള ഓർഗനൈസേഷന്റെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഇതര സ്ഥിരം പ്രതിനിധി കൂടിയായിരുന്നു അവർ. 2008 മുതൽ 2012 വരെ ഷാങ്ഹായിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ കോൺസൽ ജനറലായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. ചൈനയിൽ നിന്ന് തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ ശേഷം, വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിലെ പബ്ലിക് ഡിപ്ലോമസി ഡിവിഷനും പിന്നീട് ലാറ്റിൻ അമേരിക്ക & കരീബിയൻ ഡിവിഷനും നയിച്ചു. അൽബേനിയയിലും മോൾഡോവയിലും ഒരേസമയം അക്രഡിറ്റേഷനുമായി അവർ റൊമാനിയയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ അംബാസഡറായിരുന്നു, അതിനുശേഷം ന്യൂയോർക്കിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ കോൺസൽ ജനറലായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
