മാർഗരറ്റ് ഡെലാന്റ് (മാർഗരറ്റ വെയ്ഡ് കാംപ്ബെൽ) (ജീവിതകാലം : ഫെബ്രുവരി 23, 1857 – ജനുവരി 13, 1945) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നോവലിസ്റ്റും ചെറുകഥാകൃത്തും കവയിത്രിയുമായിരുന്നു. അവർ തന്റെ ആത്മകഥ രണ്ടു വാല്യങ്ങളായി എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ആദ്യകാലജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
മാർഗരറ്റ വെയ്ഡ് കാംപ്ബെൽ പെൻസിൽവാനിയയിലെ അല്ലെഘെനിയിൽ (ഇപ്പോൾ പിറ്റ്സ്ബർഗ്ഗിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു) 1857 ഫെബ്രുവരി 23 ന് ജനിച്ചു. അവരുടെ ജനനസമയത്ത് മാതാവ് മരണമടഞ്ഞതിനാൽ ലോയിസ് വെയ്ഡ് എന്ന അമ്മായിയുടെയും അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവായ ബെഞ്ചമിൻ കാംപ്ബെൽ ബ്ലേക്കിന്റെയും സംരക്ഷണയിലാണ് വളർന്നത്.[1] 1880 മെയ് 12 ന് അവർ ലോറിൻ എഫ്. ഡെലാന്റ് എന്നയാളെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. പരമ്പരാഗത സ്വത്തായി ഭർത്താവിന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ പിതാവിൽനിന്നു ലഭിച്ച പബ്ലീഷിംഗ് കമ്പനി 1886 ൽ അവർ വില്ക്കുകയും പരസ്യരംഗത്ത് ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു.[2] ഇക്കാലത്താണ് മാർഗരറ്റ് എഴുത്ത് തുടങ്ങിയത്.[2] 1886 ൽ അവരുടെ കാവ്യസമാഹാരമായ "The Old Garden" പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
