പേർഷ്യൻ ഗേറ്റ് യുദ്ധം പേർഷ്യൻ സത്രാപി അരിയോബാർസാനസിൻറെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പേർഷ്യൻ സൈന്യവും മഹാനായ അലക്സാണ്ടർ നയിച്ച അധിനിവേശ ഹെല്ലനിക് സഖ്യവും തമ്മിൽ നടന്ന ഒരു സൈനിക സംഘട്ടനമായിരുന്നു. ബിസി 330-ലെ ശൈത്യകാലത്ത്, പെർസിപോളിസിനടുത്തുള്ള പേർഷ്യൻ ഗേറ്റ്സിൽ,[5] ഒരു മാസത്തേക്ക് മാസിഡോണിയൻ സൈന്യത്തെ തടഞ്ഞുനിർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് അരിയോബാർസാനസ്, എണ്ണത്തിൽ കൂടുതലുള്ള പേർഷ്യൻ സേനയുടെ അവസാനത്തെ നിലയുറപ്പിച്ചു. ഒടുവിൽ യുദ്ധത്തടവുകാരിൽ നിന്നോ പ്രാദേശിക ഇടയന്മാരിൽനിന്നോ പേർഷ്യൻ സേനയുടെ പിന്നിലൂടെ അലക്സാണ്ടർ ഒരു പാത കണ്ടെത്തിയതോടെ പേർഷ്യക്കാരെ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും പെർസെപോളിസ് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നതിനും സാധിച്ചു.
