വില്ലാമെറ്റ് ദേശീയ വനം യു.എസ്. സംസ്ഥാനമായ ഒറിഗണിലെ കാസ്കേഡ് റേഞ്ചിന്റെ മധ്യഭാഗത്തായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ദേശീയ വനമാണ്.[4] ഇത് 1,678,031 ഏക്കർ (6,790.75 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ) ഭൂപ്രദേശം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. ഇതിൽ 380,000 ഏക്കറിലധികം (694 ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ, 1,540 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ) ഏഴ് പ്രധാന പർവതശിഖരങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഘോരവനമാണ്. വനത്തിനുള്ളിൽ നിരവധി വന്യവും പ്രകൃതിരമണീയവുമായ നദികളുണ്ട്. വനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന വില്ലാമെറ്റ് നദിയുടെ പേരിലാണ് ഈ ദേശീയ വനം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. വനത്തിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനം സ്പ്രിംഗ്ഫീൽഡ് നഗരത്തിലാണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.[5] മക്കെൻസി ബ്രിഡ്ജ്, ഡിട്രോയിറ്റ്, സ്വീറ്റ് ഹോം, വെസ്റ്റ്ഫിർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇതിന് പ്രാദേശിക റേഞ്ചർ ജില്ലാ റേഞ്ച് ഓഫീസുകളുമുണ്ട്.[6]
