സ്കോട്ട്‌ലൻഡിലെ ഡംഫ്രൈസ്, ഗാൽവോയ് എന്നീ തെക്കൻ തീരപ്രദേശത്ത് ഒരു ലൈറ്റ് ഹൗസുള്ള 29 ഏക്കർ ദ്വീപ് ആണ് ലിറ്റിൽ റോസ്[1] 1843-ൽ അലൻ സ്റ്റീവെൻസൻ നിർമ്മിച്ച ഇവിടുത്തെ വിളക്കുമാടം ഇപ്പോഴും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിനോടു ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടുള്ള വാച്ച്മാൻ കോട്ടേജിൽ 1960-ൽ കൊലപാതകം നടന്നിരുന്നു. ലൈറ്റ് ഹൗസിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാരനായിരുന്ന ഹഗ് ക്ളാർക്കിന്റെ തലയും കാലുകളും സഹായിയായിരുന്ന റോബർട് ഡിക്‌സൻ വെട്ടിയെടുത്തു.[2]
